Please join the Howard County History Society’s holiday celebration, “Family History Day and Holiday Mart at Mary’s Land Farm,” on December 11th from 1-4 p.m. at Mary’s Land Farm, also known as the Treakle Farm (HO-1165) located at 4979 Sheppard Lane, Clarksville, MD. We will hold the Mart in the Farm’s outdoor Party Pavilion.

We will feature our historical organization partners offering information, keepsakes, holiday greenery from local garden clubs, artisan crafters, strolling carolers, and hot cocoa and cider. Children can enjoy story-time with Mrs. Claus, and even photo ops with Santa himself. On the grounds, visitors can check out the Inn at Mary’s Land Farm (formerly the Treakle Farm House ca 1835), enjoy friendly encounters with farm animals and perhaps a few surprise visitors from the 18th Century, and book a wagon ride.
