Become a Volunteer

Whether you have a lot of time to dedicate to an ongoing position or just an hour or two top itch in here or there, we are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help in all aspects of the operation.

Current Needs Include:

  • Researchers to help Library and Archive patrons
  • Archival and library cataloguers
  • Administrative assistance
  • Membership secretary
  • Book keeping/Accounting
  • Help with events
  • Preservation & conservation projects
  • Gift shop and book sales

Internships

HCHS is committed to helping emerging professionals, college, and high school students learn about the world of archives, museums, and libraries through hands-on experience. HCHS will work with you and your school to develop your credit or non-credit internship.
